Agatha Brinkley has dedicated over 20 years to advancing regenerative agriculture and strengthening food systems through nonprofit organizations and community engagement. She has held senior roles with organizations such as Kiss the Ground and the Regenerative Organic Alliance, where she built national fundraising systems, cultivated cross-sector partnerships, and supported farmer-focused programming.
Throughout her career, Agatha has worked to leverage regenerative agriculture as a tool for fostering economic vitality, promoting social justice, and mitigating climate change. Within her various roles, she has also directed regional agriculture conferences, stewarded membership networks, and guided organizations through periods of growth and transition.
A long-time farmer in Floyd, Virginia, Agatha has spent nearly as many hours moving cows to fresh pasture as she has sitting behind a desk. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies, Sustainable Agriculture from Warren Wilson College.
